You must be over 18 years of age and resident in United Kingdom to enter our competitions.
Employees of Eirewave and any company associated to the specific competition and their families are not eligible to enter the competition.
Only two entries per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated. Automated entries will be invalidated, including multiple entries from the same IP or telephone number range.
Proof of making phone call, sending post/e-mail is not proof of our receipt of your entry.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.
The closing date is as specified in the relevant competition. This will always be a time and date in United Kingdom. Where a time is not given, the closing time will be 11.59pm (Irish time) on the relevant day.
In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.
Winners will be formally notified (by email or post) within 21 days of the closing date. Full details of the prize will be given in writing upon notification. Where we notify a winner by email, we will ask for confirmation of receipt by reply email.
In the case of prizes in the form of free tickets, we will contact the prize winner by phone or email and prize details shall be as printed on the tickets. Ticket holders shall be bound by the event promoter's terms and conditions together with those set out on the ticket and the rules and regulations of the venue.
The prize may not be transferred to any other person.
No cash alternative or alternative prize is available on entrants' request.
Eirewave will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.
Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
Competition winners agree to keep confidential any knowledge about Eirewave and its business and personnel received by them as a result of the competition.
No responsibility is accepted for inaccurate prize details supplied by sponsors.
If sponsors have agreed to provide the prize and for whatever reason, are unable to deliver the prize, Eirewave have no obligation to provide a substitute or alternative prize. No cash alternative will be available.
Use of false name or address, eg name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Eirewave reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and address as directed by Eirewave before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Eirewave shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize.
Contestants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by Eirewave will be excluded from the competition.
We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
We will keep your personal details for a reasonable time so that we can send you any prize that you have won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. We may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf.
Eirewave does not hold the responsibility for technical failures on any of the Facebook's pages or groups including Eirewave's Official Facebook page, Eirewave's employees' official and private accounts/pages or listeners' Facebook accounts/pages that may or may not contribute to technical problems with cumulating competition entries or with picking the qualifiers or the winner.
With regards to Eirewave competitions shared on Facebook that include specific time frames in their mechanics (whether such time frames are revealed to the public or not), Eirewave is not responsible for any technical faults or differences shown on different brands of smart phones, computers or other technical devices
Eirewave does not take responsibility for accounts being suspended, blocked, banned or frozen by Facebook during the duration of the competitions. Users are fully responsible for checking the limits of comments/likes/shares as well as using other Facebook mechanics that can affect them in accordance to Facebook's spamming policies.
The time of closing the competition will be decided prior to the competition going live and witnessed by another member of staff.
Eirewave does not hold the responsibility for technical failures on any of the Twitter accounts including Eirewave's Official Twitter page, Eirewave's employees' official and private accounts/pages or listeners' Twitter accounts that may or may not contribute to technical problems with cumulating competition entries or with picking the qualifiers or the winner.
With regards to Eirewave competitions shared on Twitter that include specific time frames in their mechanics (whether such time frames are revealed to the public or not), Eirewave is not responsible for any technical faults or differences shown on different smart phones, computers or other technical devices. It is the responsibility of the Eirewave panel to draw the winner and all decisions made by such panel person are final.
Eirewave does not take responsibility for accounts being suspended, blocked, banned or frozen by Twitter during the duration of the competitions. Users are fully responsible for checking the limits of retweets as well as using other Twitter mechanics that can affect them in accordance to Twitter's policies.
Eirewave may at any time issue specific rules to be read in conjunction with these rules. In the event of a conflict between two sets of rules, the competition-specific rules take priority.
