Hope
Conor Ward is a singer/songwriter from Co. Mayo in the West of Ireland. He has supported the likes of The Stunning, Ryan Sheridan, Hermitage Green and Ham Sandwich.
Before basing himself in Limerick, Conor spent a number of years travelling the world. He performed in a variety of venues across Dubai, Vietnam, Thailand, Bolivia and Peru. As well as performing, Conor used this opportunity to write about his experiences while on the road. The songs are an exploration of the experiences and observations of Conor’s time spent travelling. To reflect the ups and downs of these travels his music is a mix of upbeat catchy pop songs with melancholic acoustic ballads.
Upon returning home, he released his debut single, “Stuck”, in early 2017. Following on from that, he released his debut EP, “Wanderlust”. The EP comprises of 4 songs that were written during his travels. The first track on the EP, “City Apart”, includes a duet with the gifted Emma Langford and was featured as Joe.ie’s Song of the Day.
