MADDU

MADDU is a singer-songwriter from South-West London. He was born and raised in a village in Romania where having access to opportunities felt almost impossible.

As a child, he always dreamt of moving to London to study and pursue a career in music. This came true when he moved here to complete his undergrad degree in Music Performance at ICMP and his Master’s in Music Management at Tileyard Education – the largest music community in the world, where he had the chance to learn from personalities such as Martyn Ware.

This song is unique for the fact that MADDU draws his inspiration from his dreams. Yes, the main idea of this song is based on a dream, in which he was performing it. In his opinion, NOW is a personal statement to the world. As he states "I felt self-conscious too many times for no actual reason, and I know how many other people feel the same.

Therefore, this song is for everyone who is going through any difficulties in life and is just looking to break free from all the noise. It’s for those who are trying and never giving up on chasing their dreams.
