End of Days
One Morning in August are a two piece from Carlow/ Wicklow now based in Waterford/ Carlow. Guitars, vocals and anything else that makes noise: John F. Phelan. Drums : Stephen T. Byrne.
John is the bass player in Huts on Stilts (an indie band from Carlow) and when Stephen was asked to play a one off gig with Huts on Stilts the seeds were sown to start doing their own thing. One Morning in August are currently recording their debut album with the brilliant producer/engineer David Ayers.
Our first single of 2020, 'End of Days' features guest vocalist Claire Cummins and David Ayers on bass and additional guitar.
We released a collaboration with Cork based producer Corvax who has done a remix of a track from our forthcoming album. The track is called Time Slides and is an electronic/ambient song.
Our track 'Right to be here' is dedicated to all the refugees, the world over, particularly during the Covid-19 crisis.
New single 'Time' is out now. This is the studio version of 'Time Slides feat. Corvax' and was produced by David Ayers.
