The Joshua Hotel is the new project of multi-instrumentalist songwriter and producer, Joshua Mackenzie.
Scottish artist, Joshua Mackenzie is probably best known as lead singer, lead guitarist and songwriter for Inverness based indie-noir rock band, Lional.
During a year of recording in isolation at his rural home studio deep in the Highlands of Scotland, Joshua drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of electronic artists such as Metronomy, Depeche Mode, Mount Kimbie and MGMT. Whilst maintaining his identity as an accomplished lead guitar player, singer and lyricist, he formed a fitting sonic backdrop of Lo-Fi, atmospheric electro for a unique collection of heartfelt and introspective songs.
