Indie pop quartet TIDEPOOL released their debut single Patterns on the 29th of April 2022. Manchester-based Tidepool produce catchy guitar-based pop music. The 4-piece consists of Conrad Berriff (vocals), Alex Holdsworth (guitar), Jack Wright (guitar) and Will Smith (drums). Since forming in 2021, TIDEPOOL have developed an eclectic melody-laden sound accompanied with heartfelt lyricism and sing-a-long choruses and are now teaming up with Rich Turvey (Blossoms, Vistas) and 3x Grammy Award winner Fernando Lodeiro (Lady Gaga, Prince) to release their self-produced debut single ‘Patterns’, available 29/04/2022. TIDEPOOL are for fans of Sea Girls, The Kooks and George Ezra.
With no releases to date and no track record, TIDEPOOL are eager to introduce themselves to the world. Explaining how Patterns came to exist, frontman Conrad says: “The track details the breakdown of a friendship and the predictive patterns in mistakes that were made. Throughout the song, I struggle with coming to terms with moving on, but ultimately accept that it is for the best.”
