Fresh from the release of their new single, ‘Divine’, All Tvvins today announce a trio of gigs at Dublin’s Whelan’s on November 12th, 13th, and 14th. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Thursday September 26th at 9am.
All Tvvins duo Conor Adams and Lar Kaye enjoyed a phenomenal start to their career. Their debut album ‘IIVV’ shot into the Irish charts at #2, earned a Choice Music Prize nomination for Irish Album of the Year and smashed the 20 million streams landmark. Meanwhile, gigs in the UK and Ireland included a life-affirming sold-out shows at Dublin’s historic Olympia Theatre as well as tours around Europe. The band continued this momentum with their critically acclaimed follow up album "Just To Exist" which was released in 2019 and produced and co-written by James Vincent McMorrow.
Instilled with a new work ethic from this process, the band returned to the studio when they had finished their “Just To Exist” European tour. The first track to be released from these sessions is “Divine”. Conor from All Tvvins explains about the themes explored in "Divine": "To see yourself from outside of yourself is one of the weirdest experiences you can have. The sensations you feel are of you and old but completely new at the same time. This song is about the outer body experience both in the literal sense and the figurative every day. I think it's a good thing to try see yourself as others might see you. When I do this I feel more connected to everyone and everything else.... I don't feel like this single unit anymore."
The band had headlined the National Stadium in Dublin earlier this year as part of their “Just To Exist” tour but to mark their new chapter and to introduce new songs they were invited by their label, Faction Records, to do something more intimate with the Whelan’s shows to top off a great year. On the shows Lar from the band says: “We're delighted to announce we're playing these three nights in whelans. They are going to be really special and intimate shows”
