Enter Shikari has released ‘Bloodshot,’ the third single from their highly anticipated album ‘A Kiss For The Whole World,’ which will be available on 21st April. This follows the recent release of their other singles ‘(pls) set me on fire’ and ‘It Hurts,’ which were warmly welcomed by fans, with the band performing them during their February residency shows in the UK.
The band’s focus on rejuvenation, resilience, and resurrection is evident as they introduce their new music to the world. However, with the arrival of ‘Bloodshot,’ they pose more questions to themselves and their listeners. Lead vocalist and producer Rou Reynolds explains that the song is about how challenging it is to find truth and how easy it is to succumb to groupthink and repeat mantras.
The limited formats of the album come with the Live From Alexandra Palace 3 album and DVD, recorded at the band’s sold-out 10,000 capacity London show in December 2021.
Enter Shikari is currently a third of the way through their run of intimate, sold-out UK, EU, and US residency shows. The shows continue through March and April, with the addition of Germany’s own Blackout Problems to the long-sold-out Hamburg, Brussels, and Koln intimate album launch shows. A new show has also been added in the US, an all-ages matinee at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA.
The band’s residency shows aim to offer something different and innovative for their fans. Reynolds explains that it’s challenging to do something interesting with live shows today, and they wanted to do something unique. They aim to become a local band to five significant cities in the UK
