Snow Patrol has announced an exciting summer 2025 performance at Belsonic, Ormeau Park, Belfast, scheduled for Saturday, 21 June.
Snow Patrol’s eighth studio album, The Forest Is The Path, marks a triumphant return for the Northern Irish icons after a six-year hiatus. Produced by Fraser T Smith (renowned for his work with Adele, Dave, and Stormzy), the album sees Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connolly, and Johnny McDaid delve into new creative depths. Fans have already embraced singles like “The Beginning,” “This Is The Sound Of Your Voice,” and “All,” which showcase the album's blend of powerful, anthemic tracks and hauntingly quiet moments.
On their creative process, Lightbody shares insights into the songwriting journey. The band crafted “Everything’s Here And Nothing’s Lost” on the second day of a writing retreat to Somerset, following the first single “The Beginning.” Reflecting on the experience, Lightbody described the album as their “biggest sounding record” to date, combining “epically joyous” choruses with moments of serene intensity.
Snow Patrol returned to the stage this past summer with electrifying performances, including a headline spot at Rock Werchter in Belgium and a packed show at Limerick’s Thomond Park Stadium. After their sold-out UK and Ireland arena tour in February, which includes two Belfast dates at the SSE Arena, the band will return to Northern Ireland for the Belsonic show in June.
