Lyrics
All I Ever Wanted
Two lovers holding hands
Trip lightly along these cobblestones
The two of us are laughing
And my heart skips a beat
And I can hear the buskers
At the top of Grafton street
Their singing for the homeless
On a chilly Christmas Eve
Oh yeah,
I found the right time,
Oh yeah
I found the right words,
When I asked you to be my girl.
Girl…. you’re all I ever wanted.
Girl, you’re all I ever wanted
All I ever wanted was you.
You’d always cover up,
Your pretty smile with a silk cut purple,
Then you’d pass it over
And I’d just take a drag
Just to see you smiling,
You light up my existence
When I hear you laughing
On a chilly Christmas Eve.
Oh yeah,
I found the right time,
Oh yeah
I found the right words,
Then I asked you to be my girl.
Girl….you’re all I ever wanted.
My Girl, you’re all I’ve ever wanted.
All I ever wanted was you.
Girl….you’re all I ever wanted.
My Girl, you’re all I’ve ever wanted
All I ever wanted was you.
